DJ Dave is a seasoned DJ and event host serving Leland, Wilmington, and the greater Brunswick County region. Known for his reliability, professionalism, and ability to read any crowd, Dave has provided entertainment for hundreds of weddings, parties, and community events.

With years of experience across weddings, corporate events, nightlife, and private celebrations, DJ Dave brings musical knowledge and technical expertise to every event. His passion for creating memorable experiences shows in every performance.
A native of Indiana, Dave Martinez recently relocated to Leland from New Hampshire. Graduating Manchester High School West, he became a corporate nomad, working for various financial, retail and restaurant outlets. Dave even ran his own sandwich shop for a time. And though he excelled at each, he longed for a career he had a passion for.
In 1997, disc jockey Wensy Rivera asked if he had ever considered becoming a DJ. “You’re crazy!” was Dave’s initial response, but with a little prodding he began hosting events, including a weekly family karaoke show at Milano’s Pizzeria in Nashua, NH. Soon he was working with A Touch of Class Entertainment, of Nashua, NH and Premier Talent Group, of North Reading, MA, as both DJ & KJ (Karaoke disc jockey). In November, 2001, Dave spread his wings and founded DJ Dave Entertainment. He’d found his passion.
DJ Dave spent years as a professional radio producer and sidekick personality.
DJ Dave has since hosted hundreds of events from weddings, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, retirements, corporate gatherings and outings, holiday parties, block parties, civic functions, and school proms and dances. And thousands of karaoke shows.
As Dave says, “It’s all about good, clean fun, celebrating music and life. I am dedicated to excellence in the craft that I love so much, and grateful for the opportunity to serve you!”
